We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Name, email address, phone number, and date of birth
• Profile information including photos, bio, travel preferences, and interests
• Messages, voice notes, reports you submit through our safety tools, and other communications within the app
• Trip details, destinations, and travel plans you create or join
• Location data: approximate location (such as the city or region inferred from your IP address or device settings) and, where you grant permission, precise (GPS) device location — used to power travel and matching features
• Purchase and subscription data for our premium plans (Sugaryy+ and Sugaryy X) and in-app items. In-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we receive confirmation of your purchases but not your full card or bank details
• Identity verification data: if you choose to verify your profile, a photo of your government-issued ID and a live selfie, processed through our identity-verification provider to confirm you are a real, eligible adult
• Device information, device identifiers, IP address, and usage data

Because Sugaryy is an adults-only social and travel platform, some of the information you choose to share is considered sensitive — for example your sexual orientation, religious or political beliefs, and racial or ethnic background — as is the government ID and selfie used for identity verification. We collect this information only where you provide it voluntarily and, where required by law, with your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

If you use the block feature, we access your device contacts only on your device so you can choose whom to block. Your address book is never uploaded to or stored on our servers.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and profile
• Match you with compatible travel companions
• Enable in-app messaging and trip planning features
• Send you notifications, updates, and promotional communications
• Verify your identity and maintain platform safety
• Improve our services, features, and user experience
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Other Users: Your profile information is visible to other Sugaryy users as part of the matching and trip-planning features.
• Service Providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate the platform — including cloud hosting and storage (e.g., Amazon Web Services), analytics and push-notification delivery (e.g., Google Firebase), identity verification (Didit), and in-app-purchase processing (Apple App Store, Google Play). We require all such providers to protect your data to the same or an equally protective standard as set out in this policy and applicable law, and to use it only to provide services to us.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure data storage, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Please notify us immediately at support@sugaryy.co if you suspect any unauthorized access.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten") — you can also self-delete in the app via Settings → Account → Delete Account.
• Portability: Request transfer of your data to another service.
• Objection: Object to processing of your data for certain purposes.
• Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

We use analytics tools (such as Google Firebase Analytics) to understand how users interact with our platform. Where feasible this data is aggregated and de-identified; some analytics may be associated with device identifiers as described in Section 1.

Sugaryy is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

We retain your personal information only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. When you request account deletion, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except information we are legally required to retain (for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or other regulatory purposes), which is kept only for as long as the law requires and then securely deleted.

You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app via Settings → Account → Delete Account. If you cannot access the app, email support@sugaryy.co from your registered account and we will assist.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Sugaryy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
