Who Can Request Data Deletion
Any registered user of Sugaryy can request deletion of their account and personal data at any time.
How to Delete Your Account and Data
Option 1: Delete Account from Within the App (Recommended)
Users can delete their account directly from the application by following these steps:
Settings → Account → Delete Account
Once confirmed, your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion.
This option is available to all users and does not require contacting support.
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you are unable to access the application, you may request account deletion by sending an email to:

Subject: Account Deletion Request
Please include the email address or phone number associated with your account so we can verify ownership.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Once your deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Profile information (name, photos, bio, gender, dating preferences)
- Matches and interaction history
- Chat messages and conversations
- Uploaded photos and media
- Location data associated with your profile
- Device identifiers and usage data linked to your account
After deletion, this data cannot be recovered.
Deletion Timeframe
All account and data deletion requests are processed within 30 days of confirmation.
During this period, your account may be temporarily deactivated while deletion is completed.
Data Retention (Legal & Safety Reasons)
Certain limited data may be retained after account deletion only where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:
- Transaction or subscription records (for tax and financial compliance)
- Fraud prevention, abuse detection, or security logs
- Legal compliance and dispute resolution
Any retained data is securely stored, access-restricted, and never used for marketing or dating features.
Confirmation of Deletion
Once your account and data have been successfully deleted, you may receive a confirmation via email (if applicable).

Important Notes for Users
- Deleted accounts cannot be restored
- Re-registration will require creating a new account
