Sugaryy Research FAQ

Sugaryy Research is how we learn directly from daters — through surveys, interviews, and other feedback — so we can make dating on (and off) Sugaryy even better.

Our goal is simple: to create a world that feels a little less lonely by encouraging real, in-person connections. To do that well, we need to understand your actual dating experiences. Research helps us see what’s working, what’s not, and how we can improve the app so you can have more meaningful dates.

We’re relationship‑first. Prompts, SweetMatch™ scores, and
safety tools are designed to help you delete the app—fast.

  • Surveys — Quick questions that appear in the app or land in your inbox.
  • Interviews — A deeper conversation about your dating experiences.
  • Prototypes & Workshops — Opportunities to give input and help co-create new features.

Even if you’re not actively using Sugaryy, we might reach out. That’s on purpose! We want to learn from a wide range of experiences — whether you took a break, had a tough time, or found a relationship and moved on. Every perspective helps us make Sugaryy better for everyone.

Everyone! We want to hear from daters of all genders, sexual orientations, cultural backgrounds, and dating goals. Our research is inclusive — we build with daters, not just for them.

Consent matters, just like in dating. If you’re invited to participate, it’s always your choice to join or skip.

  • Your feedback helps us create overall insights to improve Sugaryy.
  • Individual responses are anonymized or deleted according to our Privacy Policy.
  • In interviews, we’ll explain the study first and ask if you want to continue. You can opt out at any time.

Your input helps us see the bigger picture — and we respect your privacy every step of the way.
