What Content Gets Removed
We remove content that breaks our guidelines. Common examples include:
- Discriminatory language or offensive content
- Photos of minors (including childhood pictures)
- Nudity or sexually explicit material
- Financial scams or misleading prompts
- Harassment or fetishizing behavior
- Ads, promotions, or spam
What Happens Next
If content is removed, we’ll notify you and explain why. Our goal is to make it easy for you to fix the issue and continue matching.
Even if content is removed:
- You can still view your matches, send and receive messages, and see incoming likes.
- You may need to update your profile before appearing in Discover or Standouts again.
How to Return to Discover
- Photos: Tap Add New Media to upload a replacement.
- Prompts: Tap Add New Prompt and fill out a new one.

What Others Will See
- Matches you already have: They will only see active content. Previews of removed content in messages may still appear.
- People you haven’t matched with: They might not see your profile until it meets content requirements again.
Notifications About Removed Content
- An in-app alert when you open the app
- A push notification if you have them enabled
- An email guiding you to update your content
Your Discover or Standouts tab will also show a banner with instructions on updating your profile.
How to Stay in Good Standing
- Review our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service before posting new content.
- Make sure your content is honest, respectful, and authentic.
- Ask yourself: “Is this content helpful and authentic for someone trying to connect with me?”
