Your Turn Limits is a feature designed to encourage meaningful conversations instead of collecting lots of unanswered matches. If too many people are waiting for your reply, you’ll need to respond or close existing chats before making new connections.
How does Your Turn Limits work?
When several matches are waiting on your response, you won’t be able to send or receive new Likes. To connect with new people, you’ll need to take action in your current conversations.
- Reply to a chat where it’s your turn
- End a conversation you don’t plan to continue
Why was Your Turn Limits introduced?
One of the biggest frustrations daters experience is matching with people who don’t reply. This feature was created to help increase responses and encourage people to focus on the connections they already have.
Testing showed that Your Turn Limits led to more replies and better conversations, helping turn matches into real dates.
Will my matches know I’ve hit the limit?
No. Your matches will not be notified if you’ve reached your Your Turn Limit.
What happens if I receive a Like after hitting the limit?
If you’ve hit the limit, you won’t be able to accept new Likes until you reply to a match or end a conversation.
How will I know if I’ve hit the limit?
You’ll see a pop-up notification letting you know action is required. As you get close to the limit, a progress bar will appear above your Matches.
Does this apply to Sugaryy+ or SugaryyX subscribers?
Yes. Your Turn Limits applies to all daters if too many matches are waiting for a response.
This does not limit how many Likes subscribers can send. Once you reply or close chats, Sugaryy+ and SugaryyX members can continue sending unlimited Likes.
